Strictly star Nikita Kuzmin is set to lead an explosive new dance tour next year.
The professional dancer, who is currently partnered with Amber Davies on this series of Strictly Come Dancing, will take the wheel of Burn the Floor’s new show, Supernova.
The high-energy production, created by BAFTA-winning choreographer Jason Gilkison, will see the ballroom-based dance company visit venues all over the country.
The show will feature an electrifying mix of ballroom, Latin and contemporary dance styles, with routines such as the Viennese waltz, foxtrot, tango, cha cha and jive.
Ukrainian-born Nikita will take to the stage as the production’s lead dancer.
The six-time Italian Latin and Ballroom Champion made his first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 when he was partnered with TV presenter Tilly Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
He has since been paired with Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, former field hockey player and broadcaster Sam Quek, and made the final with musical theatre star Layton Williams.
Burn the Floor has been wowing audiences with sizzling routines since 1999 and is known for its innovative reinvention of ballroom dance.
Harley Metcalf, producer of Supernova, said: “The opportunity to work with the exceptional talents of Nikita and Jason and create a ground-breaking new show is a producer’s dream.”
The show will be at the Assembly Hall in Tunbridge Wells and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury in June 2026. You can book online here.
