Rita, Sue and Bob Too the stage play comes to Canterbury

Andrea Dunbar’s semi autobiographical play, Rita, Sue and Bob Too, was written when she was just 19.

A vivid portrait of girls caught between a brutal childhood and uncompromising future, it has been revived by Out of Joint theatre company, after its instant success originally. It was also turned into a much-loved 1980s film.

British company Out Of Joint aim to produce and tour political, socially engaged and humane work which will “spark and enrich conversations around kitchen tables around the UK.”
