DYLAN’S NEPALESE AND INDIAN, Chatham
This high-street restaurant offers a mix of Indian and Nepalese meals that range from complex main courses to authentic street food. If you want to try a few smaller plates, the menu boasts bites like Nepalese peanuts, Indo-Chinese chicken wings and chickpea-stuffed wraps. However, if your stomach is rumbling, you can order heartier curry, noodle and rice dishes.

GIGGLING SQUID, Maidstone
Thai chain restaurant Giggling Squid has become one of the top-rated takeaway spots in the county town since opening in 2022. The menu is inspired by Thai tapas and has become known for popular items such as salt and pepper squid, sticky chicken and pork skewers, as well as more well-known dishes like Thai green curry and cashew stir fry.

Sometimes you just can’t beat a slice of pizza, especially when it comes to Holy Dough’s authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas. This corner restaurant blends classic Italian cooking methods with modern flavours, which can be seen in the menu that has everything from Margherita and pepperoni pizzas to toppings like nduja sausage, hot honey, goat’s cheese and pineapple.

Please Sir has been one of Kent’s best-loved burger joints since launching in 2020. Spice lovers will want to try the hot honey chicken burger with sriracha sauce, while fans of the classic American cheeseburgers will love the mighty burger with Monterey Jack cheese, crispy onions and bacon.
