Yacht sailing tasters and free trips around the harbour will be part of the fun at Dover Marina open day.
The event, held in partnership with the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club (RCPYC) and international yacht brokers Clarke & Carter on Sunday, May 14, will bring the sailing community and industry experts together for a day of water displays, exhibitions and local food stalls.
Held on the Crosswall Quay from 10am to 4pm, there will be free entry and parking in Harbour House Car Park from 7am to 7pm.
FireFox Fishing Charters will be offering free trips around the harbour, and visitors can paddle a Bronze Age replica boat around the Wellington Dock.
Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club and Cinque Ports Sailing will be offering sailing tasters and the RNLI Lifeboat Station will hold its open day.
Barbara Buczek, from the Port of Dover, said: “This year’s marina open day really does have something for everyone.
"It is great opportunity to showcase the outstanding maritime heritage and opportunities in Dover’s prestigious marina.”
