There will be a selection of songs to choose from on the day to sing, but children auditioning can also bring the music with them on an iPhone or iPad.

The auditions on Sunday, November 18 will run from 11.30am to 12.30pm, and again from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, with pictures, prizes and entertainment in between, before a final at 2.30pm.

Nativity Rocks!, which is released in cinemas on Friday, November 23, is the fourth in the series of Nativity films and features the kids from St Bernadette’s Primary School in Coventry auditioning for a coveted place in a spectacular rock musical competition.

It stars Celia Imrie as Headmistress Mrs Keen, Meera Syal, Ruth Jones, Anna Chancellor, Hugh Dennis and Helen George.
