Bring your film posters and treasured memorabilia along to get them signed by those who actually stepped aboard the Millennium Falcon or guarded the Death Star.

Actors appearing at the weekender include Victor Gallucci, who played a Rebel pilot and a stormtrooper in the original Star Wars film A New Hope, and Glyn Baker, who played Imperial Lieutenant Endicott in 1983’s Return of the Jedi, the final film of the original trilogy.

Tim Rose, who played Admiral Ackbar in three Star Wars films, will be meeting fans at the festival.

Also appearing at the convention is American puppeteer Tim Rose who played Admiral Ackbar in Return of the Jedi, the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi. He has also worked on several other films, such as the Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppets Most Wanted.

Visitors are encouraged to dress up for the occasion if they wish, along with costume group Vader’s Raiders who will be wearing costumes of well-known characters such as Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

The first 50 children to arrive at the convention will be given a free character mask to wear throughout the day and, for under 16s, there will be a costume competition with prizes including signed photos and Funko Pop figures.

There will also be a toy fair and traders selling rare collectables, so you can stock up on your Star Wars merchandise.
