Football fans have the chance to spend the evening with King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp in July.

The former football manager who was crowned the winner of ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! in December, has already staged one sell-out evening at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury this year.

Now he will be heading for Lashings bar in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, on Thursday, July 18, sharing his soccer stories with fans, as part of a series of evenings with famous footballers.

The former West Ham and Spurs manager won over the nation on I'm a Celebrity with his one liners and devotion to his wife, Sandra.

On the show, he also confessed that she called him Mr Pastry after the clumsy 1950s comedian, who hailed from Maidstone.

His night at Lashings will include a Q&A with the audience. There will also be an auction during the evening.
