Deliveroo set for launch in Whitstable, Deal and Sheerness

Food delivery giant Deliveroo is set to launch in three Kent seaside towns following "huge demand".

The firm will be rolling out its services in Whitstable, Deal and Sheerness next month, when residents will be able to order food to be delivered to their doorsteps from local restaurants and grocery stores, using Deliveroo's app or website.

Harrison Foster, Deliveroo’s UK Regional Director, said: “We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Whitstable, Sheerness and Deal and we’re excited to be launching next month.

"We’re really excited to be creating new work opportunities for local people."

The new roll-outs follow Deliveroo's launch in Herne Bay last month.

The firm - which works with 50,000 riders across the UK - is looking to take on delivery drivers and riders to work in the Whitstable area when it launches.

It also wants to hear from restaurants, takeaways and grocery retailers that are interested in becoming Deliveroo partners.
