Two dog owners have been hit with £100 fines for failing to control their dogs on a popular beach.
Canterbury City Council enforcement officers spotted the owners allowing their dogs to run free on Tankerton beach, near Whitstable, and "cause alarm to members of the public".
Both owners were issued with fixed penalty notices following the incidents, which happened on the weekend of July 11.
