Emergency services have been called to a serious incident on a railway line.

It happened between Faversham and Margate, and is expected to cause disruption to services until 11am.

Replacement buses are currently operating between the two stations.

Trains which run between Faversham and Ramsgate or between Faversham and Dover Priory may be delayed, revised or cancelled.

The ambulance service and police have been contacted for more details about the incident.
