A new trailer has launched for a TV crime series set on the Kent coast.
Whitstable Pearl, based on the murder mystery novels by town author Julie Wassmer, is set to hit the small screen later this spring.
A trailer for the show has just been launched, featuring many familiar shots of Whitstable.
The town's beach, harbour and scenic Harbour Street with its colourful array of shops and restaurants are among locations featured.
The show will star After Life's Kerry Godliman as Pearl Nolan - a restaurant owner who, having trained as a police officer earlier in her career, decides to set up a local detective agency.
She is soon embroiled in her first case when she discovers the body of a close friend, and forms an unlikely partnership with new local police chief, DCI Mike McGuire, as she is "pulled into the dark underbelly of the picturesque town she calls home".
Whitstable Pearl has been adapted from Julie Wassmer's novels The Whitstable Pearl Mystery and Disappearance at Oare by Norwegian filmmaker Øystein Karlsen, who is said to have given the crime drama a "Scandi" edge.
It will be available on online streaming service Acorn TV.
