The A20 at Newington closes for an hour this morning for the investigation of a fatal crash last week.

The Ashford Road shuts from 10am in both directions while officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit carry out their work.

Dale West, 19, pictured right, from Folkestone, was killed in an accident at 11.10pm last Monday.

It happened on a stretch of road near Thorn Wood, in the Sandling area.

The Peugeot 106 he was driving was in collision with a parked lorry.
