Ashford cyclist taken to the William Harvey Hospital with head injuries after crash with car

A cyclist in his 60s has suffered head injuries after a crash with a car in Ashford this morning.

Paramedics were called to a roundabout in Trinity Road, near the Eureka Leisure Park, at around 9am.

The Kent Air Ambulance also landed at the scene, where the man was treated.

The patient, who remained conscious, was taken by land ambulance to the nearby William Harvey Hospital.
