Masked men break-in on Hythe Road, Ashford

A man is reported to have been stabbed after four men broke into a home and assaulted him in Ashford.

The men, who covered their faces, spoke with local accents and entered through the front door at the address in Hythe Road on Monday between 1.45am and 2.45am.

The 27-year-old victim was alone in the property at the time, and suffered a stab wound to his arm and a cut to his nose.

The alleged attackers are said to have left the scene in the direction of the town.

The victim was treated at hospital and has since been discharged.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to anyone with information about the attack or the identity of the offenders.
