Jewellery burglary at Canterbury Road, Ashford

Police have appealed for information to track down a thief who smashed through French doors and stole jewellery from a house.

Officers were called after the burglary in Canterbury Road in Ashford between 9.30am and 2pm on Thursday, May 4.

PC Kirsty Gee said the thieves stole watches, necklaces, bracelets and pairs of earrings from the property after forcing their way through doors at the back of the house.

Pictures of the jewellery have been released in the hope that someone might recognise them and inform the police.

PC Gee added: “We are hoping people will take a look at the photos and contact us if they recognise the pieces of jewellery or see them offered for sale.

“We would also like to hear from you if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Canterbury Road area in Kennington at the relevant time.”
