Two arrested after police called to George Hotel in Ashford

Two men have been arrested after a man was rushed to hospital with suspected stab wounds.

Officers were called to the George Hotel in Ashford High Street at 10.30pm on Friday where two men were found with injuries.

One of the victims was taken to a London hospital with wounds consistent with a stabbing, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.

On Saturday, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 25-year-old man was detained on suspicion of affray.

Both are from Ashford and have been released on bail until Friday, June 8.

Inquiries are ongoing and officers continue to appeal for witnesses.
