Kent Police release efit after girl, 17, 'sexually assaulted' by stranger in Kennington in Ashford

This man is being hunted today after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Ashford.

Detectives investigating claims the 17-year-old was targeted by a man who tried to push her into bushes have released this efit of someone they want to speak to.

The teenager said she was attacked by the stranger after he attempted to kiss her in Cemetery Lane, Kennington.

She told police she was on her way to a friend's house when she was targeted by the man, who began walking with her after she asked him for a cigarette.

Detectives are now appealing for help in tracing the man after the alleged attack, at about 5pm on Saturday.

The man is described as 5ft 4ins, with short black hair, clean-shaven and with a diamond stud earring in his right ear.

He was wearing a grey hooded top with a yellow and blue line on the sleeve and black tracksuit trousers and trainers.

Detectives say they are not connecting this incident with recent reports of indecent exposures in Ashford.
