Biker in hospital after B2067 crash at Warehorne, near Ashford

A motorcyclist is in a serious condition after colliding with a car.

The crash, which involved a blue Toyota Auris car and red Honda motorcycle, took place on the B2067 at the junction with Malthouse Lane at Warehorne near Ashford.

It happened at 11.35am yesterday.

The motorbike rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital, where he is still in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicles prior to it, or who may have dashcam evidence, to get in touch."
