A popular games hall has had power restored after an electrical fault cancelled Saturday night activities.

Mecca Bingo in Ashford High Street confirmed on social media yesterday that an electrical fault had left the centre unable run their Saturday night bingo session.

The centre is now back up and running, and took to Facebook to say they would be opening their doors from 4pm today.

The centre posted on their Facebook page yesterday afternoon, saying: "We have contractors on site working hard (more than likely through the night) to get us back up and running for tomorrow evening's session.

"The slots arcade will still be open this evening.

"Keep your fingers crossed with me for the return of our beloved bingo tomorrow night.

"Keep an eye out for updates on here and via text message, and please take our sincere apologies for any disruption this may have caused."

Customers at Mecca Bingo, who must be aged 18 years or over, were told to look out for updates on their Facebook page.
