Birds stolen from aviary at house in Little Chart near Ashford

Police are investigating after a number of birds were stolen during a burglary.

Around 60 pet birds were taken from a property near Ashford early on Friday last week.

Between 2.20am and 2.50am an outbuilding in Little Chart was broken into and the birds were taken.

The stolen birds include canaries, redpolls, chaffinches and goldfinches.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary or the location of the birds, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/222856/20.
