Firefighters put out a blaze that destroyed a car.

They were called to the fire at Bourne Road, Aldington, at exactly 11.22pm yesterday.

An Ashford Fire Station spokesman said; “The car was well alight when we got there and the owner was not present.

“The car was 100% destroyed.”

One fire engines from the Ashford station was called to the scene and the crew was there for 20 minutes.

Firefighters say that the cause of the blaze is uncertain.
