Body find: circumstances 'not suspicious'

POLICE looking into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in the centre of a Kent town say the circumstances are not suspicious.

The body, thought to be that of a 52-year-old man, was found at about 7.30am on Friday at a public toilet area in New Rents at Ashford, beside the town's ring road.

Nearby roads were closed off while members of a police forensic team carried out investigations. The roads were reopened at about 10.30am.
