Dozens of bottles of water were given out to Willesborough Lees residents after a water main burst.
Supplier South East Water placed the bottles on the corner of Blackwall Road after the burst in Lonbridge left around 40 homeowners without water on Thursday morning.
Spokesman Hayley Fulford said engineers were trying to fix the burst on a three inch water main which had cut water supply and caused low water pressure for a number of residents.
“We are currently on site and have been able to locate the burst which, unfortunately, is very close to a street light which needs to be made safe before we are able to start work on repairing the water main,” she said.
“In the meantime, we are providing bottled water for local residents. We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and thank those residents affected for their patience while we are working hard to fix the problem.”
