A boutique, five-star hotel for cats along with a four-bedroom home has gone on the market for £1.7 million.

The business on Bromley Green Road in Ruckinge near Ashford is called Hotel Kitty and consists of a wood cabin converted into a 16-room luxury boarding facility for pets.

Each room has a web cam where owners can check up on their feline friends from home.

Some suites have tiny bunk beds, and all of them have climbing frames.

The Good Estate Agent said: “The boarding suites are luxurious, light, and cosy and based on a luxury hotel room.

“This purpose-built facility enables an ideal all-year-round environment with individually thermostatically controlled heating in each suite.

“All the suites have stunning views across the paddock and each has its own unique secure balcony for guests to sit out and watch the wildlife.

“Each suite comes with its own camera system for owners to log on any time of day or night and see and communicate with their valued family members whilst away on holiday.

“The larger suites are fitted out with individual play towers, climbing perches, and virtual aquariums.

“The 'Woodland Adventure' suite has a treetop adventure, and games galore.”

A four-bedroom house and an annexe are also for sale, found at the end of a “grand” gated driveway.

The estate agents describe it as a “high-spec haven” in an area with “open fields, rolling hills, and a slower pace of life”.

Hello Kitty opened in 2017, with the owners keen to create a home-from-home for moggies.

Rooms start at £23.50 a night.

The listing adds: “In summary, this property and business in Ruckinge is more than a residence; it's a lifestyle.

“From the premium main house and versatile annexe to the expansive grounds, outbuildings, and the flourishing cat hotel, every element is a testament to thoughtful design, comfort, and the harmonious coexistence of luxury and nature.”

Michelle Ferbrache from The Good Estate Agent stated: “On behalf of the owners I would like to reassure all clients that all cat boarding bookings will be honoured for the foreseeable future.

“There will be no cancellations.

“The business and the house are being sold as a going concern.

“It is highly likely that the cat boarding business will continue with the new owners once it is purchased.

Any questions or concerns please contact Michelle Ferbrache at The Good Estate agent, michelleferbrache@thegood.co.uk, who will liaise with the owners.”
