An animal sanctuary is hoping to find the owners of a dog who was found tied to a lamp post.

Buzz, a grey-haired terrier-cross, is being looked after by the Lord Whiskey Sanctuary after he was handed over by Ashford Borough Council (ABC).

Margaret Todd, of the Stelling Minnis based rescue centre, said the pet was found tied to a lamp post in Godinton Park.

Can you help find Buzz's owners?

She said: "He's a little dog who has been well looked after. He has a lazy head that he leans to one side but he's perfectly okay and a very nice, quiet dog.

"We would like to appeal for the owners to come forward or we would want to find a new owner. He has been with us for more than week now.

"Maybe the owner couldn't keep him but we would still like them to come forward, even anonymously, so we can have more information about him.

"He would suit an older person that perhaps does not want to walk a younger dog and just wants to give an older dog a nice life."

Can you help Buzz? Contact the Lord Whisky Sanctuary on 01303 862622 or visit their website here.
