An uninsured driver has been reported after smoke was seen coming from a car exhaust.

Officers noticed the Ford Focus in Foster Road in Willesborough, Ashford while on patrol this afternoon.

The vehicle was pulled over because of the risk it was causing to other motorists.

After assisting the driver, officers also found they had not had insurance since January.

The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported.
