Police called to Shadoxhurst following reported burglary

An investigation has been launched after a house in Ashford was broken into.

A car among other items are believed to have been taken from the home in Shadoxhurst in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police was called this morning to reports of a burglary which is reported to have taken place at a property in the early hours of April 12 in Shadoxhurst, Ashford.

Police are appealing for information.

“Officers are currently investigating this report."

It is also believed that officers were called to Tesco in Park Farm this morning about a possible theft.

The spokesman confirmed that inquiries into this alleged incident are “on-going”.
