Police and paramedics are at the scene of a crash between two cars at traffic lights in Ashford.

It happened at the entrance of the Warren Retail Park outside Sainsbury's in Simone Weil Avenue.

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and the crash has partially blocked the road.

The accident reportedly happened at around 7.50pm.

It comes weeks after a cyclist was seriously injured in an incident involving a car at the same junction.

He was flown by air ambulance to a London hospital.
