Air ambulance takes casualty to major trauma centre at London hospital

A casualty was airlifted to hospital in London following an accident in their home.

An air ambulance landed on the Willesborough Cricket Club ground yesterday between 2.30pm and 3pm.

The casualty was transported to a major trauma centre in London.

Dog walker Richard Young, 58, photographed the helicopter and said a road ambulance was also parked in nearby Albemarle Road.

A spokesman from the air ambulance service could not confirm if the casualty was male or female.
