Striking a pose for charity

An infants school has held a fashion show with a difference.

It was to show off garments children at Downs View in Kennington had been designing and making at their Indian fashion design club led by head teacher Fran Harris.

The youngsters paraded their outfits on the catwalk to applause from parents and staff.

Money raised went towards Brighter Future - a charity that sponsors Indian children who suffer from leprosy and other life-threatening diseases. The school sponsors three Brighter Future children.
