CCTV appeal after card theft in Ashford Sports Direct

Police are appealing for information after a pensioner had her card stolen in Ashford.

The victim, in her 80s, was shopping in Sports Direct in the High Street when her purse, containing a bank card, was stolen.

The incident happened between 11am and 11.30am on Saturday January 18.

There were then unauthorised transactions on the victim's bank account later that same day.

Officers have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist in their investigation.

They also ask anyone who may have information about either the theft or card fraud to call them.
