CCTV appeal over threat of violence in Ashford

CCTV pics in appeal over threats of violence in Ashford town centre

Police have released CCTV stills of two men who may be able to help in an investigation into threats of violence.

A group of men were threatened as they sat on a bench outside Sport Direct in Ashford High Street although nobody was injured.

South Kent Police spokesman Rosy Alexander said: "It is believed the two men may have information that will help the investigation."

One of them is described as white, aged 22 to 26, 6ft 3in tall, with a stocky build.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black three-quarter length trousers and a silver or grey coloured hat. He is also described as having a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday, April 24.
