CCTV released after property in Beaver Lane, Ashford burgled

CCTV images have been released of a man wanted in connection with burglary.

It comes after a 32-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the crime, which took place at a property in Beaver Lane, Ashford between 8.10am and 8.40am on Wednesday, October 9.

At the time, residents reported that a window suffered damage and a quantity of cash was stolen.

People with information regarding either the burglary, or the identity of the man pictured, are asked to contact police by calling 01843 222289 quoting 46/194908/19.

As part of a campaign against burglary, officers are reminding people to review the security of their homes and take simple steps to help deter burglars.

Update: Sam Wood has been charged with three offences, including with possessing a knife in a public place after he was arrested at Ashford International Train Station on Sunday, December 8.

The 27-year-old, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
