Two young children were threatened in what police described as a targeted robbery.

Up to six people forced their way into a house in Dolphins Road, Folkestone, just before 10pm on Monday.

It is believed that they threatened, and made threats against two young children in the house. Cash and jewellery were stolen.

Det Insp Steve Bridges said: “We don’t think this is a random attack, and believe that family were targeted.”

Anyone with information should contact South Kent police on 01303 289180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
