Two fire crews battled a house blaze this evening.

A fire broke out in the living room of a property in Celak Close, Aldington, near Ashford, at 4.30pm.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the flames before using a fan to clear smoke.

No one was injured and it is thought the fire was started accidentally.

Crews left the scene after about 45 minutes.
