Two men arrested by Kent Police in Hythe Road, Willesborough, Ashford, after cannabis discovered in early morning raid

An early morning raid on a house in Willesborough, Ashford, led to two men being arrested after a large stash of cannabis was discovered.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply after police arrived at their home in Hythe Road this morning.

Officers seized what they believe to be a large quantity of herbal cannabis and possibly resin.

The arrests and seizures form part of a weekend of action in Ashford involving 70 officers from the force’s Special Constabulary.

Officers are out on foot patrol, performing roadside checks and chatting to members of the public as well as looking for offenders and carrying out drug, arrest, search and FTA (fail to attend court) warrants.
