Motorists faced long delays in Ashford town centre last night (Monday) after a rush hour crash.

The two car collision at the junction of Station Road and Somerset Road caused tailbacks around the town from around 6pm.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene.

One driver said there was "major queuing all around the ring road and from the station through the town centre."

It is not yet known if anyone was injured.
