M20 delays at Ashford as car mounts back on coastbound junction 10 exit

A car has mounted a bank on the side of the motorway causing delays this afternoon.

The silver Alfa Romeo has been stuck for more than an hour awaiting recovery on the M20 at Ashford.

Police were called shortly before 1pm to "a three vehicle collision" on the coastbound carriageway.

The incident is right on the exit sliproad at junction 10.

Paramedics have also been called but it is understood nobody has suffered serious injuries.

One lane was closed and motorists have been caught in the traffic which was backing up back to junction 9.

The road was clear again by 2.30pm.

Another minor incident was reported on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 10 and 11 involving one vehicle.
