CCTV appeal after boy, 16, is attacked on bus in Hythe

Police have released a CCTV image of a youth they are looking for after a victim was kicked and punched on a bus.

The 16-year-old boy was assaulted on the top deck of the 101 travelling from Folkestone to New Romney.

He had just got on the bus at Red Lion Square in Hythe and sat down upstairs when another boy sitting nearby kicked him in the face and punched him.

The suspect got off the bus at the stop near the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway station in Hythe.

The assault was at about 5pm on Monday, June 24.

The attacker is described as a white male, aged around 16 to 17, with short hair, fair complexion and was wearing NIKE shoes.

Police want to hear from anyone who can identify the youth in the image.
