Power lines have caused delays for commuters heading into the capital this morning.

The high-speed service between Ashford and St Pancras International has been experiencing delays since 5.15am this morning.

Power was restored at around 7.30am, but issues remain ongoing.

An electrical fault is causing train disruption.

The overhead power supply at Ashford caused delays to Ebbsfleet International as well.

The high-speed rounder service via Sandwich and Faversham have also been affected.

Delays are expected to last until 11am.

Commuters are being advised to use mainline services towards London.
