Emergency services attend crash along Somerset Road, Ashford

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a car crash along Somerset Road in Ashford where a man has been injured.

The incident, which happened around 1.45pm, is believed to have been a collision involving two cars.

A spokeswoman from Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the scene at 1.43pm.

Emergency services are at the scene.

"It is believed to be a crash involving two vehicles.

"One fire engine is at the scene to assist with casualty care and help make the area safe.

"The incident is ongoing."

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a report of a collision involving two cars.

"Officers are currently attending Somerset Road in Ashford.

"A man has reported injuries, work is ongoing to recover one of the cars."
