Lembit Opik argues with traffic warden over parking ticket in Ashford

Video footage has emerged of former Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik remonstrating with a traffic warden over a parking ticket in Ashford.

He was captured flinging his arms wide apart in a gesture of innocence just off Trinity Road at around 5.30pm today.

Clutching a yellow ticket in his hand, he is spotted arguing with the warden as he walks back towards his car, a blue Volvo, before getting in and driving off.

Mr Opik, who was previously engaged to Cheeky Girl singer Gabriela Irimia, now works for BBC Radio Kent.
