A woman was rescued from a house after a fire broke out yesterday afternoon.

The crews arrived at 1.30pm to the property in Wind Hill in Charing Heath and used breathing equipment and pressure ventilation to reach the woman.

She was left in the care of the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
