Fire rips through house in Bethersden

Fire tore through a house early this morning.
The blaze, at Pluckley Road, Bethersden destroyed half the house with flames and the entire building was damaged by smoke.
It broke out just after 5.30am and fire crews were at the scene for an hour.
Two fire engines, one from Ashford and one from Tenterden, were called out.
The cause of the fire is not yet know and there are no reports of injuries at present.
