Two women had to be freed by firefighters after a car crash.

The accident happened at Lancaster Road, Repton Park, Ashford, between 8 and 8.30pm on Wednesday night.

The women's Citroen Saxo had been in collision with a taxi.

Two fire engines from the Ashford station were called and lifted out the door.

The two women were unhurt.
