Neil Cugley says his Folkestone Invicta side can blow the Ryman League Premier Division picture wide open by recording successive victories.

Invicta lie one place outside the bottom four, but have been flitting in and out of the relegation zone over the past month, swapping places with rivals Maidstone United almost weekly.

Weather permitting, Invicta visit Hastings on Saturday, knowing a win will take them within a point of their opponents, having played two fewer games.

On Tuesday they host Horsham, who lie a point behind Invicta going into the weekend's games and second bottom.

Cugley (pictured) said: "If we play like we did when we beat Margate last week there is no reason why we can't win both games and make the table look a whole lot different. You certainly want to beat the teams around you in the table.

"It is important to drag other teams into the picture. If we could get four or five teams above the relegation zone into the mix then it would be much better.

"You don't want just five in the mix, you want eight or nine. No matter what, it is going to be a rollercoaster until the end of the season."

Darren Smith serves a one-match ban on Saturday, meaning Jimmy Dryden may come back in, or Cugley could revert James Everitt back to attacking duties. Michael Everitt remains sidelined with a knee injury.
