Ella Steadman, 21, Jack Grindley, 20, Leon Melson, 19, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared at Canterbury Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday) where they pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary between July 21 and 22 this year.

It is alleged they raided an address in Laurens Van Der Post Way and stole a Canada Goose jacket, money and jewellery.

The four defendants will stand trial on March 4 next year.

Steadman, of Bowens Field, Ashford, and the youth were released on bail while Grindley, of Riverbank Way, Ashford, and Melson, of Tennyson Road, Ashford, were remanded in custody.
