A Jaguar S-Type was destroyed when it was set alight on a driveway in Kennington, Ashford, last night.

Firefighters from Ashford and Wye rushed to Raymond Fuller Way just before 10.30pm but were unable to save the car.

Police are treating the fire as arson and are appealing for anyone who might be able to help with their investigation to get in touch.

Spokesman Jon Green said: "Kent Police is investigating a car fire in Raymond Fuller Way last night as arson.

"A Jaguar S-Type was damaged and the fire is believed to have been started some time between 10pm and 10.20pm.

"Police would like to hear from anyone with information or anyone who saw anything suspicious."
