Thirteen proved to be a lucky number for organisers of the Create music festival in Ashford’s Victoria Park on Sunday.

The hottest day of the year - with temperatures touching 31C (88F) - brought an estimated 5,000 people to the 13th festival.

Rolling Stones tribute band 21st Century Stones were headliners on the main stage while the Right Track Stage showcased young talent. There was also a DJ tent with local DJs.

It was the fourth year Create was organised by Chris Dixon, from Ashford Borough Council, who said: “Create is the best it’s ever been.”
