Two lanes of the M20 were closed following a crash on the westbound carriageway.

Police closed off part of the road after the accident at 4.50pm on the stretch between Junction 9 for for the A20 at Ashford and Junction 8 at Leeds Castle.

The fallout of a separate crash on the same stretch earlier was cleared at 3.50pm.

Lanes two and three were closed until shortly before 7pm, affecting traffic heading from Ashford to Maidstone.
